Coronavirus and Flu Prevention

As health care professionals, the TRU DENTAL Team focuses every day on maintaining a safe and healthy environment that help protects the health of employees, patients and visitors. The world health community continues to monitor closely the emergence of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), as do we. Currently, Arizona has been minimally impacted throughout the state and at this time, we do not anticipate any changes to our normal hours or appointment availability. However, in order to reduce transmission of the COVID-19 as well as other seasonal influenza viruses, the following additional precautionary steps have been made at our office:

  • Increased frequency of disinfectant cleaning on all surfaces

  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizers provided to each individual team member

  • Employees who are experiencing respiratory illness or symptoms associated with  COVID-19 will be advised to rest at home in accordance with advised health guidelines.

We understand our patients value their dental health and appointments with our team which is why our Doctors and professional team members are here to assist you with your dental needs and any questions you may have. Please note, if you are experiencing respiratory illness symptoms and would like to reschedule your appointment give us a call and we will be happy to make arrangements for your future visit.

Tips to Remember:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

  • Stay home when you are sick.

  • Cover your cough and sneezes with a tissue and then throw the tissue in the trash.

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
